According to the official revised vacancy list released on 5 August 2025, the number of Junior Engineer (JE) vacancies has been increased from 1340 to 1731 across Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical disciplines.

The initial notification released in March 2025 advertised 1340 vacancies. However, the updated notice dated 5 August 2025 shows a substantial increase of 391 vacancies, taking the total count to 1731.
