Nationality
To apply for RBI Grade B Eligibility Criteria 2025, a candidate must be:
- A citizen of India, OR
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, OR
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement, OR

- Desirable: Doctorate in Economics, teaching/research experience, or publication in standard journals.
(C) RBI Grade B (DSIM)
- Master’s in Statistics / Mathematical Statistics / Econometrics / Data Science / AI / ML / Big Data with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD), OR
- Master’s in Mathematics with a 1-year PG Diploma in Statistics, OR
- Four-year Bachelor’s in Data Science/AI/ML/Big Data (60% marks), OR
- PG Diploma in Business Analytics with 55% marks.
Candidates with M.Phil./Ph.D. in relevant subjects get additional age relaxation
Number of Attempts for RBI Grade B
The RBI restricts the maximum number of attempts for General/EWS category aspirants:
