Preparation Strategy for IB ACIO Grade 2 Syllabus 2025

With the IB ACIO 2025 online applications scheduled from July 19 to August 10, candidates should begin preparation immediately to make the most of the limited time before the Tier-I exam.

In the first two weeks (July 14–28), focus on building a strong foundation in all five sections of Tier-I: General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English Language, and General Studies. Dedicate 6–8 hours daily to understanding key concepts, reading current affairs (January to July 2025), practicing basic math problems, and strengthening English grammar and vocabulary. Start reading editorials and solving mini quizzes to build momentum.

During Week 3 and 4 (July 29–August 14), shift your focus toward practice and speed. Start taking mock tests twice a week and analyze your performance to identify weak areas. Continue revising current affairs and static GK while practicing reading comprehension and reasoning puzzles. Begin preparing for Tier-II by writing simple essays and learning how to draft precis and answer comprehension questions. Aim to write at least one essay every 2–3 days and revise grammar rules for better writing accuracy.

In Week 5 and 6 (August 15–31), increase the frequency of mock tests and focus on exam-like conditions. Take a full mock test every alternate day and analyze your mistakes. For the descriptive paper, write one essay and one précis every two days. Choose topics related to current national issues, internal security, and social challenges. Revise all short notes, GK flashcards, and maths formulas regularly.

Finally, in Week 7 and 8 (September 1–14), focus on final revisions and fine-tuning your strategy. Take 4–5 full-length mock tests during this period and prioritize weaker sections. Go through previous year’s question papers for both objective and descriptive formats. If time permits, begin light preparation for the interview round by reading about the Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, and key national developments.
