• One-Tier General Examination: This will be a MCQ based exam that consists of only one section. DSSSB Jail Warder Selection Process 2025 – One Tier General Exam

• There will be a total of 200 questions in the exam.

• For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

DSSSB Jail Warder Selection Process 2025 – PST & PET

In order to qualify the Physical Standards Test, candidates must be:

• More than 170 cm tall (relaxation as per category)
• 81-85 cm chest circumference (relaxation as per category)
• Enjoying good health and should be free from any physical defect or deformity.

After the PST is completed successfully, candidates shall proceed for the PET. During the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), candidates will be assigned certain physical activities. Selection in this round will be based on the performance and efficiency of the candidates in these activities. The activities that the candidates will have to perform are:

• 1600 meters running in 6 minutes or less
• Those qualifying the running round will be given other tasks, which are:
  • 3 feet 9 inch High Jump in 3 attempts
  • 13 feet Long Jump in 3 attempts

Candidates who can perform well in this Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be called for the last stage i.e. Document Verification.
