Eligibility Criteria for Bihar STET 2025 Online Form

Secondary (Class-9th to 10th) Paper-I :– Bachelor Degree in Related with Subject with Minimum 50% Marks and B.Ed Exam Passed.
Senior Secondary (Class-11th & 12th) Paper-II :- Post Graduate (PG) Degree with Second Division in Related Subject and B.Ed Exam Passed. (For Computer Science Subject Candidates, B.Ed. Degree is Not Compulsory.).
Important Note:- In case of SC/ ST/ EBC/ BC & Divyang Will Be Given Relaxation Up to 5%.
Degrees must be from UGC/NCTE-recognized institutions.
Age/ Qaulfication for Other State Candidates (All Category) treated as General Category.
Candidates must be Indian citizens.

Bihar STET 2025 Online Form: Paper/ Subject Wise Education Qualification Details

Paper I (For Secondary Level – Classes 9-10)

Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, English, Bengali, Maithili, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri:
- Bachelor’s degree with the respective subject and a 2-Year B.Ed. from a recognized institution, or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) like BA-B.Ed./B.Sc.-B.Ed.
Mathematics:
- Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics and at least one of Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Statistics, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Mathematics.
Science:
- Bachelor’s degree with Zoology, Botany, and Chemistry, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Science.
Social Science:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least two subjects from History, Geography, Political Science, or Economics (with History or Geography compulsory), along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP)
Physical Education:
- 10th pass with a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Physical Education, along with a 2-Year B.Ed. or equivalent.
Fine Arts/Dance/Music:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts/Dance/Music with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in the respective field.

Paper II (For Higher Secondary Level – Classes 11-12)

Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, English, Bengali, Maithili, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri:
- Master’s degree in the respective subject with at least 50% marks from a UGC-recognized university, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP).
Mathematics:
- Master’s degree in Mathematics with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Mathematics.
Physics:
- Master’s degree in Physics with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Physics.
Chemistry:
- Master’s degree in Chemistry with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Chemistry.
Biology:
- Master’s degree in Botany or Zoology with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Biology.
History:
- Master’s degree in History with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with History.
Geography:
- Master’s degree in Geography with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Geography.
Political Science:
- Master’s degree in Political Science with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Political Science.
Economics:
- Master’s degree in Economics with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Economics.
Sociology:
- Master’s degree in Sociology with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Sociology.
Psychology:

Philosophy:

Home Science:
