UPPSC AE Exam Pattern 2024

The UPPSC AE Recruitment consists of three steps i.e. Prelims and Mains followed by a Personal Interview round. The candidates who’ll be selected in the written examination will be called for the personal interview round. The mains written exam consists of two papers, both will be conducted on the same day in different shifts.

Paper I will be having 125 questions including 25 questions from General Hindi and 100 questions from the technical domain of the respective Engineering Branch similarly Paper II will also have 125 questions including 25 questions from General Knowledge and 100 questions from the technical domain. The detailed UPPSC AE Exam Pattern and marking scheme of both paper I & II are given below:

UPPSC AE Paper I Exam Pattern

The key points related to the UPPSC AE Paper I Exam Pattern are given below:

• The total duration of the UPPSC AE Paper I is 2.5 hours.
• Total number of questions will be 125.
• According to the marking scheme of the examination, +3 marks for every right answer and -1 for every wrong answer.
• The questions will be from the General Hindi and Technical Domains of the particular engineering branch of the appearing candidate.
