Eligibility Criteria
- MBBS Degree awarded by recognized University; Courses approved by Medical Council of India
- Must be registered practitioner as per Madras Medical Registration Act, 1914
- Must have completed House Surgeon (CRRI) for not less than 12 months
- Registered in Tamil Nadu Medical Council by notification date (21/11/2025)
- Must clear Tamil Eligibility Test at SSLC standard; exemption for Differently Abled Persons as per rules
Salary/Stipend
- Scale of Pay: Level-22, Rs. 56,100-2,05,700 per month

- SCs, SCAs, STs, MBC/DNCs, BCs, BCMs: No maximum age limit (not above 60 years)
- Others: 37 years
