Heeramandi Reviews and Cast: Netizens laud Sanjay Leela Bhansali, call his Netflix web series ‘masterclass’
Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, renowned for his cinematic excellence, has give you an epic drama collection, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, which premiered on Netflix right now, Could 1.
It has been 30 years since Bhansali and Manisha Koirala final collaborated of their film 1942: A Love Story. Whereas Heeramandi shares a style much like the 1994 basic film, the brand new collection delved into uncooked feelings, exploring themes of freedom, love, brothels, and jealousy.
The collection affords glimpses of flicks like Gangubai Kathiawadi, Mandi, Kalank, and Devdas, however with a extra refined portrayal of actors.

However, there have been few who have been no impressed with the Netflix collection. Abhijit Iyer-Mitra took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Might anybody get previous the primary quarter-hour of #Heeramandi? I imply, nice units, however 2 songs inside 15 mins & no plot in sight and horrible story telling [sic].”

In keeping with Filmfare journal, in a recent chat, Sanjay Leela Bhansali revealed that he initially needed to cast Rekha, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Rani Mukerji when he first thought of Heeramandi 18 years ago.
