CSIR NEERI Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Junior Secretariat Assistant:
  • 10+2/ XII or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
  • Proficiency in computer typing with a speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi.
• Junior Stenographer:
  • 10+2/ XII or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficiency in stenography with 80 w.p.m speed in dictation and transcription time of 50 minutes for English or 65 minutes for Hindi.

Age Limit (as of 1st January 2025)

• Junior Secretariat Assistant: Maximum 28 years
• Junior Stenographer: Maximum 27 years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.

CSIR NEERI Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

1. Written Examination:
   • Paper I: Mental Ability Test (100 questions, 90 minutes)
   • Paper II: General Awareness and General English (Evaluated only for candidates who clear Paper I)
2. Skill Test:
   • Typing Test for Junior Secretariat Assistant.
   • Stenography Test for Junior Stenographer.
3. Final Merit List:
   • Based on marks obtained in Paper II for Junior Secretariat Assistant and written examination for Junior Stenographer.
