Eligibility Criteria

• Must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English) or equivalent from a recognized board/institute.
• For Dialysis Technician:
  • Degree or Diploma in Dialysis Technology from recognized university/institute.
  • One year experience as Dialysis Technician from a reputed institution for diploma holders.
  • Preference to candidates with Degree of B.Sc. Dialysis Technician.
• For Medical Laboratory Technician Grade-2:
  • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (2 or 3 years after 10+2) from a recognized university/institution OR B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology degree.
  • Relevant experience required for certain posts (see PDF for details).
• Must have passed BFUHSi language at Matriculation level or equivalent.
• Technical qualifications must be on regular basis (distance/ correspondence not accepted).

Salary/Stipend

• Medical Laboratory Technician Grade-2: Rs. 21,700 per month (as per 7th CPC)
• Dialysis Technician: Rs. 29,200 per month (as per 7th CPC)
• Other benefits as per BFUHS Govt. norms

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 37 years
• 5 years relaxation for SC/BC, 10 years for PH, up to 45 years for Govt. employees, 3 years additional for Ex-Servicemen (see notification for specifics)

Application Fee

Application Fee (Non-refundable) will be charged as under:-

• All Categories except SC Category Rs. 2360/-(Fee Rs. 2000+ GST Rs. 360 @ 18%)
• For SC Category Rs. 1180/- (Fee Rs. 1000+GST Rs. 180 @ 18%)

• Written examination (100 marks) conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot
• Eligibility on securing minimum 33 marks in written test
