1. There will be 170 questions overall, worth a total of 85 points.
2. As a penalty, one-third (0.33) of the marks allotted to that question will be subtracted for each incorrect response.

2UPPSC Staff Nurse Mains Exam Pattern

  • There will be two descriptive parts to the main examination.
  • The exam will last for three hours (3 hours).
  • The exam will be held for 85 marks.

Part A: Five descriptive questions, each worth five marks (125 words maximum).
Part B: Will include 6 questions, of which 4 must be answered. Each question carries 15 marks, with a word count cap of 300.
