SSC JHT Exam Pattern 2024: Along with the official notice, SSC has issued the SSC JHT Exam Pattern 2024. It is divided into two parts:
- Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is made up of objective-type multiple-choice questions that will be asked from two sections.
- Paper II, is made up of descriptive-type questions.

SSC JHT Exam Pattern 2024
The JHT exam administered by the Staff Selection Commission consists of two papers: paper 1 and paper 2. SSC JHT Exam Pattern 2024 Paper I
Candidates must take Paper 1 to qualify for the following step, Paper 2, and those who pass Paper 2 will be contacted for document verification and appointment based on merit. In Paper I, each incorrect answer will result in a 0.25 mark deduction.

SSC JHT Selection Process 2024
Candidates must take Paper 1 in order to be qualified for the next step, Paper 2. Those who pass Paper 2 will be invited for document verification and merit-based appointments.
- In Paper-I, each incorrect answer will result in a 0.25 mark deduction.
- Paper-I will only have Objective Type Multiple Choice questions.
- The marks of applicants in the Computer Based Examination will be Standardized/normalized.
- For Paper-II there will be no negative marking as per the notification.
SSC JHT Exam Pattern 2024 Marking Scheme
- Paper I will comprise of 200 MCQs, 100 from General English and 100 from General Hindi.
- In Paper I, each question is worth one mark, and each incorrect answer is worth 0.25 marks.
- Paper II will only be reviewed for applicants who have passed Paper I.
- Paper II will include four questions. In paper II, no special marking design is used.
- The maximum mark for both Paper I and Paper II is 200. In Paper II, there is no negative marking.
