Rajasthan State Electricity Board (RSEB) AE & JE 2021 Exam Pattern & Syllabus 

Post Name-Assistant Engineer (AE)/Junior Engineer (JE)

Selection Process-Candidates will be selected based on computer based online written competitive examination.

There will be no interview.

Exam Exam Pattern-As per official notification (2018/2021) exam pattern for both Assistant Engineers (AE) &  Junior Engineers (JE) as following

Part – A : 60% weightage
The standard and syllabus of the examination will be of the level of Degree in Engineering in the respective discipline.
Part – B : 40% weightage
(i) Reasoning & Mental Ability
(ii) Mathematics
(iii) General Knowledge & Everyday Science
(iv) Hindi General
(v) English General

Total Time-2 Hours

Part – A-60 Minutes

Part – B-60 Minutes

Total Questions-140

Part A-Professional Knowledge-60 Questions-120 Marks

Part B (i) Reasoning & Mental Ability-08 Questions- 08 Marks
(ii) General Knowledge & Everyday Science -48 Questions-48 Marks
(iii) Hindi General-08 Questions-08 Marks
(iv) English General-08 Questions-08 Marks
(v) Mathematics-08 Questions-08 Marks

Negative Marking-0.25

Part A-Syllabus-Follow standard engineering syllabus (For example Engineering Services)

Part B-Syllabus

(i)Reasoning & Mental Ability- Analytical Reasoning, Number series, Letter series, Odd man out, Coding-Decoding, Shapes and Mirror Images, Clocks, etc.
(ii) Mathematics- Mathematics. (Class-XII level).
(iii) General Knowledge & Everyday Science – Current events including issues of State (Rajasthan), National & International importance, Persons & Places in recent news, Games & Sports, Science, Indian History, Civics, Geography, Indian Polity, etc., with special reference to Rajasthan.
(iv) Hindi General- Hindi Grammar and language (Class-X level).
(v) English General- English Grammar and language (Class-X level).
