RRB Technician Selection Process 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is going to announce the RRB Technician Recruitment 2024, which include an online application submission. In first-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT – Stage I), in second-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT – Stage II), a Computer-Based Aptitude Test if required, and a Document Verification phase.

The RRB Technician Selection Process 2024 contains four stages. Candidates must clear the Stage-I CBT, which is a qualifying round. Those candidates who qualify in Stage-I proceed to the second stage, the Stage II CBT. Candidates  document verification follows upon clearing the first two stages.

Stage 1: RRB Technician CBT 1

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), candidates will undergo a carefully structured RRB Technician Selection Process 2024. The first important step in this journey is the Stage 1 Computer-Based Test (CBT), designed to qualify in nature.

Stage 2: RRB Technician CBT 2

The RRB Technician Selection Process for the year 2024 includes a different stage examination to identify and recruit skilled candidates for the position of Technician. The CBT Stage II is a important phase of this selection process.

Two unique portions, Part A and Part B, make up the RRB Technician CBT Stage II. Candidates’ aptitude in mathematics, reasoning, fundamental science and engineering, and current events knowledge are evaluated in Part A. 100 questions in all must be answered in the allotted 90 minutes. Increased capacity for in-depth knowledge and problem-solving skills in these areas are crucial for candidates.

Stage 3: RRB Technician Computer Based Aptitude Test

Those candidates are applying for these position, the RRB Technician Selection Process 2024 includes a third-round known as the Computer Based Aptitude Test. This test serves as a critical evaluation of candidates’ aptitude and abilities required for the role. Their is no negative marking in third stage.

  • CBAT Test Objective:

The primary objective of the Computer Based Aptitude Test is to assess candidates’ suitability for the position of ALP, particularly focusing on their cognitive and decision-making skills.

  • CBAT Qualifying Score:

To successfully clear this round, candidates must achieve a minimum score of 42 marks. It’s essential to note that no relaxation in these minimum marks is permitted, emphasizing the importance of meeting this criterion.

  • CBAT Scoring System:

Unlike previous rounds, there is no negative marking in the Computer Based Aptitude Test. Candidates are encouraged to answer questions to the best of their abilities without the fear of losing marks for incorrect responses.

Stage 4: RRB Technician Document Verification

If the candidates successfully clearing the all rounds of the selection process, candidates will proceed to the last stage is Document Verification. During this phase, candidates are required to present all the necessary original documents along with their copies for thorough scrutiny.

  • Purpose of Document Verification:

The Document Verification stage serves as a important step to confirm the authenticity of candidates’ qualifications, eligibility, and personal information.

  • Document Checklist:

Candidates must arrive at the Document Verification session fully prepared with the following:

  1. Original copies of all relevant educational certificates and mark sheets.
  2. Proof of age and date of birth.
  3. Proof of identity, such as Aadhar card, passport, or voter ID.
  4. Category certificate (if applicable).
  5. Disability certificate (if applicable).
  6. Any other documents as specified in the official notification.
  7. Verification Process.
