Note:

Candidates should know about the negative marking for wrong answers in both the Preliminary and Main examinations. If a candidate give a wrong answer to a question in the Objective Type Tests, a penalty of one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted from their total score. However, if a candidate leaves a question blank (i.e., doesn’t provide any answer), there will be no negative marking for that question. It’s important for candidates to answer questions they are confident about and avoid guessing if they are unsure, as incorrect answers can lead to a deduction in their overall score.

IBPS Clerk Document Verification

As part of the IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2023, the document verification order is strictly followed to ensure the validity of candidates’ qualification. Here is the specify order for document verification:

  1. Valid System Generated Online Application Form
  2. Photo Identity Proof
  3. Date of Birth Proof
  4. NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the Head of the Department for candidates employed in Government Departments or Public Sector Undertakings etc.
  5. Caste Certificate, if the candidate has applied under a reserved category.
  6. Experience Certificates, if applicable.
  7. Medical Certificate for Physically Disabled candidates.
