The Haryana Staff Selection Commission unveils the examination pattern for the Taxation Inspector position, comprising a straightforward two-stage selection process. The process mandates candidates to participate in both these stages: the written test and the assessment based on socio-economic criteria and experience. The written exam for the Taxation Inspector position will be conducted offline, utilizing OMR Sheets. The test covers a range of topics with varying weightages:

1. General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, Science, History (including Haryana’s history), Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture, etc. – 20% weightage

2. Computer Terminology, Fundamentals, Word Software, Excel Software, PowerPoint, Internet, Web Browsing, Communication, Emails, Downloading and Uploading Data on Websites, etc. – 10% weightage

3. Subject-Related Questions – 70% weightage
