The trailer for “A Quiet Place: Day One” was released on Wednesday. The movie details the events that occurred over a year before the original “A Quiet Place” movie took place.
The trailer depicts a traditional, loud New York City day with cabs honking and folks speaking. Suddenly, they’re hit by meteors that result in the invasion of monsters that feed on noise.
This film is a prequel to the primary and second parts of “A Quiet Place,” detailing how and why the world wanted to go silent.
The film lead actor Lupita Nyong’o as somebody who’s trying to navigate by New York City as silently as attainable after the monsters take over.
The film also stars Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff and Djimon Hounsou, who appeared in “A Quiet Place Part II.”
Whereas it’s unknown if John Krasinski and Emily Blunt shall be reprising their roles for the prequel, Krasinski, who was the director of each movies, declined to return to this project.
